Job Description

To maintain the highest standards possible for the guest by insuring quick, efficient, and professional Room Service.

Responsibilities
   » Must have complete expertise of service time, menu, and specials
   » Prepare, deliver and service orders in conformity to MOS Standards
   » Follow each step of service while delivering the order in the room
   » Requisition of all food and beverage products and supplies for private dining department, while maintaining par levels
   » Set up and deliver all amenities in conformity to MOS standards
   » expertise of Micros; capability to answer telephone and use computer
   » Ensure that all liquor, health and sanitation laws are adhered to
   » Posting of all checks and balance at the end of shift; post all tips and gratuities to servers and tip declaration sheet; responsible for each check
   » Forward and turn in all correspondence tickets and monies to night audit
   » Responsible for checking par levels of food with pantry cook
   » Must be able to lift a hot box or lift a tray occasionally
   » Always inquire if additional service is needed
   » Responsible for pick-up tables and trays and follow tray pick up system
   » Responsible for set-up, hospitality set up, delivery and presentation of VIP amenity
   » Complete all side tasks as assigned both opening and closing and minimize breakage
   » Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions
   » Operate with little supervision/be able to handle all guests complaints independently

Qualifications
   » Must have previous food and beverage practice in fine dining or hotel
   » Room Service practice and minimal bartending expertise is preferred
   » Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
   » TABC and Food Handler certifications are required
   » Must become winequest certified
   » Must be able to lift 20 to 50 pounds
   » Previous cash handling practice preferred
