PART-TIME ADMINISTRATIVE adjunct I (Grant Funded): Academic Innovations & Professional Development; Haverhill Campus; 10-18 hours per week; The Administrative adjunct will report to the Dean of Academic Innovations and Professional Development. Filling the position and continued employment is contingent upon grant funding.
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Job responsibilities: The person in this position serves as a member of a team providing support for faculty and staff (and occasionally students) engaged in grant-funded projects in collaboration with other NECC departments as well as external partners.
   » Organize events, including meetings, workshops and other collaborative functions, and be responsible for all related communications and logistics;
   » Track grant expenses;
   » Assist with ordering supplies, processing stipends, executing contracts and processing expense reimbursements;
   » Communicate with internal and external grant partners;
   » Assist the CBE Learning Coach with communicating information to CBE faculty and students;
   » Assist the CBE Learning Coach with marketing and recruitment activities;
   » Compile, analyze, and utilize data and metrics to measure impact;
   » Prepare and generate reports;
   » Assist with drafting and/or proofreading presentations, flyers, reports, email, newsletters and other communications

MINIMUMAppropriate qualifications:
   » Associate degree from an accredited college in business administration, management, or related field;
   » Minimum of 3 years' practice in an office or management setting;
   » Strong demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook as well comfort working with and learning new applications;
   » Working knowledge of budget tracking and monitoring;
   » practice coordinating event logistics;
   » Excellent communication (interpersonal, verbal, written), analytical and problem-solving expertise;
   » Excellent organizational and time management expertise;
   » Demonstrated capability to initiate and manage multiple tasks under competing deadlines and shifting priorities;
   » Proven attention to detail and methods for ensuring accuracy;
   » Naturally curious and creative thinker who takes initiative;
   » Exceptional follow-up and follow-through expertise;
   » capability to understand how each process is connected to the larger goals of the office and the college;
   » capability to abide by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and handle sensitive information in a confidential manner;
   » capability to act both independently and collaboratively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and perspectives
PREFERREDAppropriate qualifications:
   » Bachelor's degree;
   » capability to use applications commonly used in higher education (e.g., Banner® by Ellucian and Blackboard® LMS);
   » Knowledge of community college academic programs, services and culture;
   » Bilingual (English/Spanish)
