The Department of Physical Therapy in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the MGH Institute of Health Professions invites applications for a 12-month, part-time (.5 FTE) Clinical Education Instructor. The ideal applicant will have skills in clinical education in the academic and/or clinical environment, strong clinical reasoning skills, and good organizational skills. Strong candidates will have practice teaching doctor of physical therapy students in academic and/or clinical settings. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the design and management of clinical education within DPT program courses, contributing to the development of students as clinicians in all domains of professional clinical practice, and contributing to the development of clinical education faculty as clinical teachers, mentors, and practitioners. As part of the clinical education team, the individual in this position will collaborate with the core faculty and our clinical partners on development and improvement of our innovative models of clinical education.

GRADUATE PROGRAMS IN PHYSICAL THERAPY
The Department of Physical Therapy offers a 3-year DPT degree and a 1-year Residency in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy. The DPT program is highly regarded and is currently launching a new visionary curriculum. An interdisciplinary PhD program and integrated interprofessional activities reflect the commitment of the Institute to interprofessional education. Our highly respected faculty is recognized for skills as educators, scholars and master clinicians, and for their involvement in leadership abilities positions in the profession. The Institute is an autonomous graduate educational institution that is an academic affiliate of the Massachusetts General Hospital and a member of the Partners HealthCare System.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must have a doctoral degree (e.g., Doctor of Physical Therapy, PhD, EdD, ScD, DSc). Board certification preferred. Strong candidates will have prior academic or clinical teaching practice and have or will be eligible to receive physical therapy licensure in Massachusetts.
