Auburn University Athletics is seeking candidates for the Ticket Office Intern position. The intern interacts with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests regarding tickets to the Athletic Department's events and activities. This individual is responsible for providing public relations, administrative and communications support to the Athletics Department Ticket Office and coordinates with other internal offices.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
   » Provide excellent customer service at events, on the phone, by email, and at ticket windows.
   » Help in scheduling a group of 20+ student workers for 100+ events all over the year.
   » Assist with ticket related functions for all home Baseball, Gymnastics, Men’s & Women’s Basketball, Football, and Softball games including Selling, Will Call, Player Guest, Troubleshooting, Student ticketing, and customer service.
   » Gain practice using Jump Forward for Player Guest tickets.
   » Printing/mailing of all tickets purchased
   » Gain practice in inventory management and building & creation of seasons and maps in Paciolan.
   » Become familiar with Paciolan ticketing software to assist in customer inquiries, orders, data entry, and account management.
   » Provide assistance in reconciliation and auditing of tickets and cash for deposits.
   » Provide general and specific information regarding tickets, parking, discapability accommodations and all matters surrounding Auburn Athletic events.
   » Act as representative of the Auburn Athletic Department at various home events.
   » Preform other tasks as assigned.
Entry into the candidate pool requires a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university. Previous work practice in a ticket office or athletic department is preferred. The ideal candidate must be dependable and willing to work nights/weekends/holidays, possess strong communication and organizational expertise, and able to provide top level customer service when covering customer complaints and issues. practice with Microsoft Office is required. Adobe & Photoshop and Paciolan ticketing system practice are preferred, but not required.
