Primary tasks:

 This intern will report to the Education & Outreach Operations Analyst. The intern will be working with youth and adult sex education program data in partnership with two external evaluation partners: University of Minnesota’s avoidance Research Center (youth evaluation) and Wilder Research (adult evaluation). Youth program evaluation includes working onsite with PRC. Key functions of the position include administering existing evaluation tools (pre- and post-tests), and compiling, cleaning and summarizing the resulting data. The intern will also assist the Education & Outreach Dept. with miscellaneous tasks as needed, providing the intern with an inside look at the workings of the department.

Specific tasks:
- Administer existing evaluation tools (pre- and post-tests)
- Compile, clean and summarize data
- Review evaluation report drafts
- Assist with other department evaluation projects as needed
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed

- Data management and reporting
- Community health/sex education programming and program operations

Hours: 8-16 hours per week. Primarily flexible, weekday/daytime hours. Some pre- and post-test administration may take place in the evenings/weekends.

Internship runs September 2018 through August 2019. Hours may increase as project deadlines approach. capability to commit to 12 months strongly preferred, though shorter tenures will be considered.

Compensation: $3,000 stipend offered for full year (including summer 2019).

practice:

 Required/Preferred Appropriate qualifications:
- Required - expertise of evaluation techniques essential
- practice working with immigrant communities preferred
- practice administering surveys and/or group facilitation preferred
- Data entry practice key, pre- and post-test survey data entry a plus
- practice programming and/or administering online surveys beneficial
- Good written and oral communication expertise
- Must be able to work independently
- Basic level of expertise about current topics in sexuality
