Job Details and Requirement:
*This is a 10 month, regular, full-time position. The working hours may vary due to needs of the athletics department or College.

This position is responsible for a variety of tasks within the Sports Information office including, but not limited to collecting statistics, writing game recaps and press releases, generation of content for CMS Athletics social media, managing live streaming, and assisting in a wide variety of tasks.

DESCRIPTION OF tasks AND Job responsibilities:

Reporting to the Sports Information Director, the Sports Information adjunct performs or works independently/collaboratively to execute the following essential tasks and Job responsibilities:

25% - Writing game recaps and press releases for
20% - Generating and managing video/visual content on CMS Athletics social media.
20% - Oversight of live video broadcasts at home events.
10% - Oversight of live statistics at home events.
10% - Maintaining rosters, schedules, bios, etc. on
15% - Other tasks as assigned.

suitable education
Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and practice is required.

Previous practice working in a collegiate Sports Information office or related field preferred. practice with StatCrew/Presto Stats, Adobe Photoshop, video editing, broadcasting, social media, website management, games management, writing, and working under pressure also preferred.

PHYSICAL Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. on occasion.

REQUIRED expertise, expertise, and ABILITIES:
Individual must possess expertise, expertise, and capability to be able to prosperously perform the essential functions of the position, or be able to explain or demonstrate how the essential functions will be performed, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of expertise expertise and abilities.

Demonstrate effective, accurate and clear communication with excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, reading, and customer service expertise.Follow all written and verbal instructions, asking questions as needed for clarification of projects/tasks/tasks/assignments.

Operate computers proficiently with basic Microsoft Office software (such as Word, Excel, Outlook) and connected professional software (such as Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Premier. iMovie, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook).

Prioritize and perform multiple projects, meet deadlines, respond to others in a timely manner, and work both independently and as a collaborative member of the Athletics Department with a high standard of integrity and ethics.

Use strong organizational and time management expertise to complete work with accuracy and a keen attention to detail.

The hours for this position vary with the athletics schedule. Holiday, weekend, and evening work hours will be required. Regular hours may vary due to needs of the athletics department. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule. This is a 10 month position.
