Post-Doctoral Clinical Forensic Psychology Fellowship Description
Two Post-Doctoral Clinical Forensic Psychology Fellowship positions [of four] in Child Maltreatment are available for the start date if September 1, 2018 at the Audrey Hepburn Children's House [AHCH] at Hackensack University Medical Center [Hackensack Meridian Healthcare. This is a one-year, grant funded position. The AHCH is a designated Regional Diagnostic and Treatment Center for child maltreatment in NJ. The program resides in the Department of Pediatrics. The position affords the opportunity to conduct forensic psychological assessments, foster care screenings, individual, family and group therapy with children and families under the family court as a result of child maltreatment. The Fellows will also be responsible for identifying, designing and studying a research question of mutual interest to the AHCH under supervision of principle investigator. There is also the additional opportunity to participate in the administration of a neuropsychological evaluation.
The fellowship program has been approved by the American Board of Professional Psychology/American Board of Forensic Psychology [ABPP/ABFP] as providing the rigorous training that enables waiver of the 5-year post-licensure requirement to be eligible for consideration as a diplomate. Fellows will receive supervision that contributes to the eligibility requirements for the Examination of Professional Practice in Psychology [EPPP]. Bilingual candidates are especially encouraged to apply.
