Organizational Unit Overview
The Greenville CDSA is a part of the ECU Brody School of Medicine’s Department of Pediatrics and contractually serves as the primary portal of entry for the N.C. Infant-Toddler Program for seven counties in the eastern region of NC.
Job tasks
Responsible for processing monthly timesheets for non-exempt and exempt employees, updating leave balances, and point of contact with HR when unique situations arise regarding FMLA, LWOP, short-term discapability, etc. Monitors general office supplies and testing protocol inventory levels and reorders through PORT or with other approved vendors. Review and distribute phone bills to staff and point of contact with ITCS for discrepancies. Process monthly motor fleet travel and schedule cars everyday for clinic visits to ensure quarterly mileage is met. This also includes monitoring required timelines for car maintenance/mileage for potential surplus and proactively covering these items. Serves as backup for other Administrative Support personnel, including job assignments of but not limited to, fixed asset reporting, processing provider/interpreter invoices, and travel reimbursement.
CLINICAL SUPPORT POSITION – NOT SUBJECT TO STATE HUMAN RESOURCES ACT.
The ECU Brody School of Medicine is affiliated with Vidant Medical Center. Vidant Medical Center is the flagship hospital for Vidant Health and serves as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.
Minimum Education/practice
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office practice; or equivalent combination of training and practice.
License or Certification required by statute or regulation
None
Preferred practice, expertise, Training/Education
Two year degree in Business Administration and/or 2 years practice working in an university office environment.
Possess excellent verbal and written expertise to prosperously interface with different departments of ECU.
The person in this position must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and highly organized.
Prefer practice with processing employee leave, purchasing in port, and any practice with motor fleet cars.
