Garfield Park Hospital will be openingÂtheir doors for aÂMental Health SpecialistÂOpen House (must arrive by 6pm).
We have Full time Day, Evening, and Night Shifts available as well as Flex.

Mental Health Specialist (MHS) Primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention, and assistance with patient everyday living activities. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or related field strongly preferred. Non-degreed candidates with 5-10 years of related psychiatric practice will also be considered. Must possess expertise of psychiatric group processes, therapeutic relationships, age specific growth and development, limit setting, behavior management, and crisis management. Masters level Mental Health Specialists also welcome. Bilingual is a plus!
