About the function

The primary function of the Part-time Marketing Specialist is to provide service for the prospects of the designated community The MS must be outgoing and capable of accompanying prospective residents to model apartments and assisting with paperwork to future prospects. Must be able to meet specific sales goals weekly and monthly in both tours and contracts which are set by the Community Manager/Leasing & Marketing Manager and regional support team. Front line representative for prospective and current residents.

What you'll be doing

* Assist with all activities relating to marketing efforts: conducting site tours, assisting the University with preparing and organizing of paperwork, assisting with marketing efforts, and scheduling appointments

* Assist with outreach marketing as necessary, to include visiting local businesses, participating in housing fairs and orientations, etc.

* Communicate effectively with prospects both in-person, over the phone, and by written correspondence either through mail or web communications (email, website, social media)

* Lgain and ensure compliance with all company, local, state and federal safety rules.

* Identify and report safety and security risks.

* Ensure that unsafe conditions are reported in a timely manner.

* Follow Zero Harm principle

Typical Physical Demands: Sit and stand to do clerical work. Regularly lift and move equipment and supplies up to 50 lbs.

Who we're looking for

* High School Diploma or equivalent required

* Possession of a valid state issued Driver's License and safe driving record is required

* capability to manage multiple assignments

* Must be a self-starter with a high level of motivation

* capability to work independently

* Professional approach, proven good judgment, and creative problem solving

* Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude

* Strong team player

* Strong Customer Service

* Effective Communication and Organizational Skills

* Be familiar with outreach marketing and advertising

* Student/Multifamily leasing practice preferred

* On-campus involvement in clubs, organizations, and housing/residence life a plus

* capability to work 20 hours per week
