The Mississippi Center for Advanced Medicine is seeking to hire a Chief Financial agent/Director of Finance.
About: The Mississippi Center for Advanced Medicine (MCAM) is a new healthcare facility in Madison, Mississippi, that integrates subspecialty medical care, clinical pharmacy services and care coordination for patients with pediatric and congenital disorders. Our unified care process assures timely and thorough evaluations and treatments for patients who need subspecialty services. Our commitment to service assures patients, referring providers, payers, and vendors unhindered access to our providers and staff. We believe open and frequent communication combined with an integrated specialty care model will optimize quality, safety, service, results, and cost for subspecialty medical and pharmaceutical care in our area.
Coordinated Care Model: The Mississippi Center for Advanced Medicine offers a patient-centered treatment team that includes specialty physicians, clinical pharmacy, nursing, and social work/care coordination to ensure the patient and family have all of the resources necessary to navigate complex medical processes and insure the best possible results.
The Mississippi Center for Advanced Medicine is currently located in Madison, Mississippi with a satellite office in Tupelo and outreach clinics in Hattiesburg, McComb, Oxford, and Ruleville. Position Summary:
The Mississippi Center for Advanced Medicine is recruiting a Chief Financial agent or Director of Finance depending on expertiseet and practice. Serves as an integral part of the executive leadership abilities team along with the CEO, COO and CMO by leading all financial operations within MCAM.

Position Job responsibilities:
   » Planning and oversight of organizational $35 million-dollar annual budget.
   » Will work to bring coding, billing and all accounts receivable processes in-house over the first 6-9 months of employment.
   » Develop an internal process for expense and supply chain tracking and performance.
   » Provide leadership abilities for all connected finance, revenue cycle and budgetary departments.
   » Works closely with CEO, COO and Director of Pharmacy for pharmaceutical revenue cycle.
   » Provides feedback to the CEO, COO and CMO regarding affiliation opportunities, competitive offerings and the development of financial pro formas for new ventures.
   » Will develop yearly and monthly budgets including month-end close, variance analysis and long-term planning.
   » Capture report and interpret performance metrics.
   » Strategically drives an increase in patient volumes and revenue.
   » Position will develop a professional and knowledgeable team approach to each new business/growth opportunity.
   » Plans and coordinates the implementation of business plans and new market strategies in connection with the executive leadership abilities team.
   » Works in tandem with the COO on MCAM managed care strategy.

Position Requirements:
   » Demonstrated capability and practice in superviseing and developing all aspects of revenue cycle, finance, accounting, budgetary planning, insurance, billing and coding for a hospital system, physician practice or healthcare related entity.
   » practice in a pediatric healthcare finance setting strongly preferred.
   » Responsible for operating and capital budgets, cash forecasts, and operating target planning.
   » Deep knowledge of physician practice economic, operational and strategic dynamics.
   » Manages cost-reporting and guidance on capital equipment purchases.
   » Knowledge of both for-profit and non-profit healthcare systems.
   » Excellent verbal and communication expertise.
   » Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, health care, or related discipline.
   » Master’s or doctoral degree in finance, business, health care, or related discipline strongly preferred.
