The AFO HPLC Marketing Program Manager (MPM) plans, designs and executes all marketing activities for the assigned segment programs (Pharma/Biopharma), HPLC instrument, and Informatics software product lines for the America's Field Organization (AFO) focusing on the North American geography.

In this position you will have the opportunity to execute the HPLC and Informatics marketing strategy and design the regional marketing programs with a focus on North America programs. You will develop the business case to select the appropriate program tactics within the region and report the success of your programs to the AFO & global organization. Together with the global MPM team, the regional Marcom team & WW product management, you govern all outbound aspects of AFO new product launches and manage the HPLC and Informatics portfolio-mix though the entire product life-cycle including up- and cross-sell opportunities with other businesses.

On the business development side you own the overall market sensing for the assigned HPLC and Informatics market segments within AFO. The MPM also develops and shares business intelligence & insight to drive sales channel behavior & Funnel in close collaboration with AFO sales management.

*Develop marketing strategy, program, and campaigns to drive demand, increase market share, and drive growth in HPLC, Informatics, and pharma/biopharm markets for AFO with a focus on Nth. America.
*Measures and evaluates impacts of owned marketing programs. Implements corrective actions to ensure delivery of targeted results & objectives.
*Works closely with the AFO Marcom team and other members of the WW Marcom team to execute programs and track assigned spend.
*Works closely with the AFO Marcom team to develop program metrics & effective tactics mix. Collaborate for all CRM related aspects of sales & marketing integration.
*Works closely with the LAR & Brazil organizations for sharing marketing programs & assisting them to drive their own segment, and product line marketing.
*Works with the AFO Sales channels to monitor & analyze competitive information and customer data to facilitate effective program development and drive activities to drive higher volume and quality of funnel.
*Serves as single point of contact for the AFO sales channels for WW Business Unit requests and reciprocally provides the field perspective to the WW Business Unit.
*Coordinates with WW business unit managers for continuing product management over promotion and placement changes.
*Helps define channel training requirements linked to program execution.
*The AFO HPLC, Informatics and pharma/biopharm markets MPM reports to the AFO Marketing Manager.

*University education in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology or comparable; Ph.D. preferable or equivalent combination of education and practice.
*Intimate expertise of HPLC, Informatics and pharma/biopharm markets, products & sales channels.
*7+ years related practice in a field sales and/or field marketing environment.
*Demonstrated skills in teamwork, results-orientation and strong persistence to reach goals.
*capability to work across a global organization with international business practice.
*Excellent communication skills (written/oral). capability to collaborate equally effective all over all hierarchical levels
*availability for travel for ~ 50% of the time.
*capability to deal with high pressure, visibility and workload; availability to prioritize tasks and take quick decisions.
*located in/near an Agilent Office and close to a hub-airport is advantageous.
