Postdoctoral Training: Postdoctoral Associate
The Epilepsy, Cognition and Development Group in the Department of Neurological Sciences at the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont is recruiting a Postdoctoral Associate to conduct translational neuroscience research. The Epilepsy, Cognition and Development Group consists of 5 Principal Investigators and multiple postdoctoral fellows and graduate students that work collaboratively together in knowledge the neurobiology of epilepsy and its co-morbidities and interact and collaborate with clinicians. The prosperous applicant will work primarily with Drs. Gregory L. Holmes, Chair, Department of Neurological Sciences and Jeremy Barry, adjunct Professor of Neurological Sciences. Our research involves studying the effects of seizures on behavior and electrophysiological signaling. practice in rodent behavior, in vivo electrophysiology with recording of EEG and single units and signal analysis using MatLab is highly desirable. The laboratory is highly collaborative and offers many opportunities for career development.
