Job Description

The adjunct Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for the overall service standards execution, supervision, and training of all food & beverage staff within Resort outlets, ranging from fine dining, to cafe, to room-service-style dining operations. The adjunct Director of F&B is responsible to ensure appropriate and up to date training and education related to dining practices and menu offerings to allow for the best level of service to be provided to all dining guests at The Omni Homestead Resort. In addition to traditional dining outlets, the adjunct Director to assist in planning, facilitation, and execution of special events that are hosted all over the property (ex. 4th of July BBQ, New Year's Eve Black-tie Celebration). The adjunct Director of F&B will be the "subject matter expert" for all f&b-related Omni Hotels & Resorts policies, SOPs, and company-wide initiatives, and will additionally assist all outlet managers with appropriately and effectively budgeting and forecasting.

   » Coordinate with Executive Steward and outlet stewarding team to ensure par levels of flatware are available and accessible at all dining outlets.
   » Design and implement an effective cross-utilization platform, allowing flexibility of associates to work across outlets
   » Review all purchase requests of unit managers prior to submittal to the Food and Beverage Director.
   » Maintenance of accurate private wine bin inventories.
   » Ensure maitenance and cleanliness of all dining outlets through routine audits, both on presentation and service
   » Detail appropriate forecasts of everyday linen consumption, and communicate needs to Director of Housekeeping, and team
   » Monitor servicecapability of front of house uniforms and forecast uniform consumption, and purchase schedule.

   » Minimum of 5 year of practice in the Food & Beverage Management in an upscale hotel environment, including practice coaching and developing associates (preferred)
   » Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent industry work practice
   » Strong expertise of wines, cocktails, and beer (Sommelier or Ciccerone Certificate, preferred)
   » Strong working expertise of Micros.
   » capability to make quick decisions in high stress situations, continuously adjusting to a changing work-environment
   » Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
