Job Summary/Basic Function
The Diversity Recruitment Specialist (DRS) will be assisting the Diversity Coordinator in contacting prospective students, research, creating new marketing initiatives, and representing diversity recruitment. Additionally the DRS will work closely with the church outreach coordinator and Humble Tip to help facilitate department travel logistic to diverse events. The DRS will also assist in analyzing and interpreting in-house data and conduct outside research located on the most current trends. The DRS will be responsible for helping the diversity coordinator maximize the outreach and effectiveness of all diversity initiatives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Provide support to the diversity coordinator, recruitment team, Humble Tip, and the church outreach coordinator
2.Communicate with prospective students, in order to maintain relationships and recruit them to the university
3.Request and manage Source codes and text campaigns for special events
4.Research and analyze recruitment trends in diversity, and document best practices for recruitment
5.Research quality events for Humble Tip and diversity coordinator to attend
6.Create and maintain quality analytics on a weekly basis
7.Coordinate internal and external meetings for diversity coordinator
Minimum Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
Education and practice
1.Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business
2.Must display proficiency with Microsoft Office products (i.e. Outlook, Word, and Excel)
3.Strong organizational and time-management expertise
4.Outstanding coordination capability, with a focus on travel logistics
5.Excellent communication expertise, both verbal and written
6.availability to travel when necessary
7.practice with public speaking and sales
Preferred Qualifications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Master’s degree, preferably in business or communication
2. At least 1-2 years as part of the Liberty Admissions or Recruitment team
Work Hours
-40+ hours per week
-Night and weekend work is required
-Travel is required
