Responsibilities
   » Perform research that supports and facilitates the planning, policy development and decision-making activities of system administrators.
   » Perform data analysis needed to comply with University, State, and Federal reporting requirements as determined by campus leadership abilities.
   » Complete required reports accurately and on time.
   » Ensure public and campus-restricted data resources are kept up to date and are accurate.
   » Assist other campus organizations by implementing solutions to fit their needs.
   » Assist with meeting the needs of Academic Affairs and academic units on providing accurate and timely accreditation data.
   » Assist with meeting the needs of Enrollment Management, Retention Services, and Student Affairs in implementing and maintaining nation- and institution-wide student satisfaction surveys.
   » Perform data analysis for functional offices, e.g., Admissions, Finance, Financial Aid, Human Resources, and Registrar, and make such data available to the campus to help them solve problems.
   » Assist UM System Institutional Research (IR) with validation of data prior to submission to State and Federal regulators.
   » Assist with requests for information from administrators, faculty, staff, students and external constituents in a timely manner to the extent permissible by applicable laws and University regulations.
   » Educate campus constituencies about the services provided by IR and available data.
   » Perform other tasks as assigned. Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and significant practice, and at least 2 years of practice from which comparable expertise and expertise can be acquired is necessary. The capability to work with Microsoft Office suite is essential. Basic expertise of structured query language (sql) and SAS or similar software is desired.

$47,476 annually
