The Position
The Director of Diversity and Inclusion leads EA's diversity work, helping foster a school environment where all people are valued, all cultures are welcome, and varying perspectives are respected and appreciated. The goal of the position is to ensure that the school is living its commitment to diversity and inclusion as defined by our diversity statement.

About You

The Director of Diversity and Inclusion:


Develops significant programs for students, faculty, staff, and parents to advance inclusion and multiculturalism.


Ensures that students from all backgrounds are valued and appreciated in school life, and that they lgain to respect and appreciate difference in each other.


Plans and helps execute professional development related to diversity, inclusion, and cultural competence.


Collaborates with academic leaders schoolwide to ensure that curriculum and pedagogy are inclusive


Coordinates or supports student groups, parent groups, and other committees related to equity and inclusion.


Helps attract and retain diverse students, faculty, and staff.
