   » To supervise police agents on an assigned shift and enforce University regulations, and city and state laws as they apply to University property.
   » Answer calls regarding service, illness, accidents, disturbances, crime, or distress and provide necessary assistance or take appropriate action as needed.
   » Conduct preliminary investigations of incidents as necessary; collect and preserve phyxical evidence, protect crime scene, and report and record all facts of incident.
   » Observe public or student gatherings and analyze developments to determine need for action. May interview and recommend hiring of police agents.
   » Provide general assistance and information to students, staff or public.
   » Perform other tasks as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
   » Two years of college or equivalent combination of education and practice from which comparable knowleddge and ablities can be acquired is necessary.
   » Missouri POST certification may be required prior to employment, but Information technology is required once job is started.
   » Five Years of police practice, including training and practice sufficent to meet current state certification standards for police agent is necessary.
