Nemours is seeking a Medical Director, Telehealth to join our team in Wilmington, DE.
The Medical Director, Telehealth is a full-time opportunity responsible for advancing the use of technology to improve access, reduce costs, and improve results for patients we serve and our partners in the advancement of Nemours True North and strategic initiatives. The Medical Director is responsible for clinical quality and adoption of telehealth across the enterprise, including responsibility of the 24/7 on-demand physician team. The Medical Director will jointly report to the Florida Physician-in-Charge and the Delaware Valley Physician-in-Charge and working closely with the Telehealth Administrator to ensure enterprise-wide integration, operational efficiencies and support of enterprise-wide and local strategic initiatives. Responsibilities of the Telehealth Medical Director include:
   » Work closely with telehealth leadership abilities team to develop, execute, and refresh a strategic plan and direction that fosters the mission, goals and objectives of Nemours Telehealth, in concert with the strategic direction of the organization.
   » Function as the lead clinical advocate to all telehealth practice locations and their respective clinical leaders.
   » Advance the expertise of internal and external providers regarding opportunities related to telehealth solutions, patient results, and patient and provider satisfaction.
   » Communicate progress and development of telehealth initiatives to internal and external leaders.
   » Maintain expertise in the field and continuing trends of Telehealth that allow telehealth to have a positive impact on health services access, results and cost efficiencies.
   » Foster innovation and new opportunities for the use of telehealth in local, regional, national and international markets.
   » Provide 50% of time focused on telehealth program and remainder on clinical specialty. Job Requirements:
   » Active Board Certification by ABP
   » Clear and active Delaware Valley Medical License and DEA
   » More than 3 years' practice
   » Demonstrated practice in providing care via telehealth or in the development and operationalizing of telehealth programs
   » Proficiency with EPIC; open to working with and testing new telehealth technologies Interested candidates please forward CV to:
