TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availcapability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

The Customer Supply Chain function is an integral part of ensuring the success of some of TE's most critical accounts. this function will be responsible for setting up and managing key customer facing supply chain programs (e.g. VMI, Consignment / Special Stocking Locations, Safety Stock and Customer Forecast / Licapability), assisting Sales in setting up and implementing new Stocking Agreements, manage account review process to ensure performance against key program elements and ensure commitments to customer-specific inventory levels are being met. this function will require an individual with both practice setting up and managing the programs and analysis above and with a proactive mindset committed to cross-functional partnering with all parts of TE and the customer to ensure prosperous execution (i.e. empowered ownership). Additional skills and comfort in data (obtaining, manipulating, analyzing) will be crucial in efficiently performing ad-hoc analysis, identifying areas for standard reporting, and resolving continuing issues. this function will support all of the Americas region - including Central and South American accounts and programs - strong preference will be placed on candidates with fluency in Spanish.




* Setup and manage value-add supply chain programs and agreements (VMI, Consignment, Safety Stock, Customer Forecasts, Licapability Agreements, Special Stocking Locations, etc.).

* Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely progress on steady-state (i.e. continuing KPIs) and emerging (e.g. line-down) issues - knowing when and how to engage these stakeholders (customer, finance, legal, etc.) is critical to the continuing success of this function

* Identify, obtain, analyze and interpret significant supply chain data.

* Use analysis results to improve supply chain processes, performance and to reduce costs.

* Coordinate Plant or D.C. Product Moves with Plant, Global Materials, Global Sales, Global Customer Care and Global Demand Management Team.

* Manage regular touchpoints with account teams and customer (e.g. Quarterly and Annual Reviews)

* Determine Customer Specific inventory level safety stock, min max level to drive Customer practice and reduce Customer lead-times. Work with Customer for input of Safety Stock levels and Provide Monthly updates of Customer Specific Safety Stock Levels.

* Assist Quality and the Sales Team with forecast information for many Customer requests: Weekly Sales Forecast Numbers, Part Change Notifications, Allocated Parts, Obsolescence, Superseding Part Numbers, Business Transfers and Quality challenges.

* Review Forecast vs. Demand and drive appropriate actions.

* Identify areas for continuous improvement (e.g. repetitive problematic part resolution).

* Key KPIs may include: Improve Ship to Request, Decrease Customer Weighted Average Lead Time, Improved Delivery Performance, Reduction of Days on Hand Inventory, Improve Customer practice, etc.

* Fluency in Spanish

* Strong background in data analysis (SQL, SAP, Excel, etc.)
