Randstad Professionals is seeking an practiced and skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper.
This position will play a key function in office Accounting and Administration tasks. This candidate should have the desire to work in a dynamic environment that is growing at a rapid pace and have full expertise of billing and accounting.
Qualifications and expertise
   » Strong computer expertise required using QuickBooks, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
   » Well organized, analytical, able to multi-task projects and prioritize responsibilities.
   » Extreme attention to detail and follow through is vital.
   » Work independently and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
   » Must maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
   » Strong written and verbal communication expertise
   » Basic accounting procedures: A/R, A/P, and Payroll. Creating, entering, and matching purchase orders, posting vendor invoices, preparing manual checks, weekly check runs, process cost reports and weekly payroll.
   » Organize and utilize data to prepare reports using QuickBooks, Excel, and Word.
   » Monitor and report cash flow needs.
Job Functions:
   » Prepare documentation & research problem issues
   » Maintain accurately and up to date files and record keeping system including data backup
   » Responsible for organizing and coordinating and implementing office operations, procedures and policies.
   » Maintain office supply inventory.
   » Full cycle Accounts Receivable including collections and invoicing.
   » Full cycle Accounts Payable. Including check run and reconciliation of statements.
   » Provide information and reporting as needed to management and national headquarters.
   » Maintain, repair and/or replace office equipment per management direction.
   » Update and maintain customer information file in system including renewals, sales tax status.
   » Update and maintain vendor information file in system including W-9 and 1099 status.
   » Provide information to Accountant as needed for monthly/quarterly closing
   » HR tasks when needed.
   » Perform other related tasks as required.
   » Provide day-to-day support for managers.
Candidates for this position would preferably have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and/or combination of education and practice.
   » At least 3 years of continuous practice in Bookkeeping/Accounting.
   » At least 2 years coursework in Finance or Accounting.
   » At least 2 years of Office practice.
   » Intermediate expertise/skill in Quickbooks, Windows Excel, Word, and Outlook.
The preferred candidate for this excellent opportunity will be highly *ANALYTICAL* and able to multi-task and complete projects in a timely manner. The candidate will need to be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under definitive timelines.
