The Idaho Press-Tribune is seeking a smart, organized and creative journalist to be our next community engagement editor.
The Press-Tribune, a everyday newspaper in southwest Idaho, is seeking a full-time community engagement editor to take charge of our features sections as well as manage our opinion page.
This editor will be in charge of putting together the columns, letters, guest opinions and editorial cartoons that go into our opinion page as well as taking the opinion section into its next evolution of community engagement.
We are seeking for Somebody with new ideas on community outreach, social media savvy and the enthusiasm and energy to execute on those ideas.
In addition, this editor will edit and curate local content for themed features sections, such as Money, Health, Homestyle, A&E, Ag and Community.
The Press-Tribune covers the Treasure Valley, an area that is teeming with news and plenty of things to do. The Treasure Valley features great weather with four seasons and moderate winters and is close to world-class outdoor amenities.
The Idaho Press-Tribune is owned by Adams Publishing Group, which owns and operates more than 100 community newspapers in 11 states, including the Meridian Press, the Emmett Messenger-Index and the Kuna Melba News locally and the Idaho Falls Post Register and Idaho State Journal in eastern Idaho.
