Contribute to the success of the Sociology Department Administrative Office by providing administrative services through coordination and support of operation activities:
   » Make decisions and exercise a high level of autonomy while typically performing administrative support/management responsibilities for DEO of Sociology including managing schedule, correspondence, and travel arrangements.
   » Assist the DEO and Director of Graduate Studies with course planning and compliance of graduate program to all procedures and policies. Includes developing and communication of written procedures and polices related to academic planning and TA assignments.
   » Act as day-to-day contact for human resources information as directed by the DEO, Administrator or Human Resources..
   » Serve as departmental contact for business related travel for faculty, students and visitors to ensure that budget constraints are followed.
   » Provide strategic assistance for DEO's goals.
   » Coordinate all internal departmental communication and serve as liaison to faculty, staff, students, alumni and public concerning inquiries or complaints requiring interpretation of policies, procedures and programs.
