To assist the head coach in the administration and operation of the Women's Soccer program, consistent with the policies of Miami University, the National Collegiate Athletic Association, and other appropriate governing bodies, i.e., Mid-American Conference.
This position specifically supports the mission of the University and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics by assisting in institutional compliance with NCAA and Conference rules and regulations.

tasks/Physical Demands:

Participate in the administration of the program by:
   » Assisting in all aspects of recruitment of prospective student/athletes for the program; specifically by evaluating talent at high schools and tournaments, developing contacts, creating correspondence, managing files, evaluating film, assisting during campus visits, and developing contacts for the program
   » Assisting in practice and game preparation, including but not limited to training goalkeepers
   » Coordinate and plan team and individual travel
   » Scheduling, organization and administration of camps and clinics
   » Office management, equipment management
   » Assisting the head coach in conducting the program in conformity with all NCAA rules, including attendance at compliance meetings, appropriate record keeping for recruiting and competition/practice seasons, prosperously completing the annual NCAA certification test, and adjunct in the education of student/athletes about NCAA rules
   » Participating in department activities, including service on committees and attendance at all scheduled meetings
   » Participating in other tasks assigned by the head coach and athletic administration.

   » practice playing or coaching soccer at the high school level or above
